Do you know if this figure includes maintenance on existing infrastructure? If it does, then the figure spent on new infrastructure if very low. I wonder what are depreciation rates for infrastructure such as water supply and sanitation and for roads - if it is 3% then as a rough guide does this not imply that 3% of the value of existing infrastructure needs to be spent on maintenance and/or saved for replacement infrastructure? RE: "... we have found more than $23bn in tax cuts over two Budgets" - is there a link to a breakdown of how this figure was calculated?
